In a fast-paced world of plastic, concrete, and mass production, something vital is being lost: the connection between people, materials, and the natural world. That’s why I founded the Society of Wood House kitchen and closet—to bring back that connection through wood, craftsmanship, and a shared vision for a more sustainable, authentic future.
A Vision Rooted in Nature
The Society of Wood House is more than a name. It’s a movement. A community dedicated to wooden architecture, traditional craftsmanship, and the timeless value of handmade work. We believe in the warmth of wood, the strength of natural design, and the importance of building in harmony with the environment.
Wood is not just a material. It is alive. It breathes, it adapts, and it lasts. From homes to furniture, we celebrate its beauty and purpose—honoring both tradition and innovation in how we work with it.
Why It Matters
This society exists because we see a need to protect and promote something many are forgetting: the art of working with wood by hand, with patience and care. In Morocco and beyond, many old techniques are fading. But we are here to preserve them, pass them on, and bring them into the modern world with pride.
Our mission is to:
- Support artisans and creators who work with wood.
- Educate the next generation in sustainable, skilled craftsmanship.
- Promote natural living, wooden homes, and furniture made with soul.
- Connect people who believe in beauty, quality, and responsibility.
My Role as Founder and CEO
As a Moroccan craftsman and entrepreneur, I know the challenges of working with your hands, starting a business, and standing for something different. I started as one person making furniture—and now I’m building a society for others like me: passionate, hardworking, and full of ideas.
The Society of Wood House is not just my project—it’s a platform for all of us who believe that a wooden future is not only possible, but necessary.
